Macbeth (solo)

Award winning theatre company The Shakespeare Edit creates classical theatre that is distilled but not diluted; pared down but not dumbed down, with a focus on language, imaginative storytelling and psychologically believable characters.

This 60 minute dramatic monologue, Performed by Artistic Director Paul Goodwin, and created in collaboration with Ukrainian composer Dmitriy Saratsky, brings Shakespeare's tale of ambition, murder and madness fully alive for contemporary audiences.

Previously seen at York International Shakespeare Festival, Verona Shakespeare Festival Fringe, and at United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC where the production won the award for Best International Show.

"Embodied with visceral realism and pyschologising force.“
